Reporting Items
Flag suspicious listings to warn other users in the queue.
When you are in the autocop queue waiting for your turn to buy an item, you have the option to report the listing if something seems suspicious. Reporting is a community safety feature designed to warn other users who are also waiting in the queue for the same item.
When to Report
Use the report feature when you notice any of the following issues with a listing while waiting in the autocop queue:
- Fake item - The listing appears to be counterfeit or a replica being sold as authentic.
- Unreliable seller - The seller has a history of cancellations, poor reviews, or suspicious behavior.
- Strange look - The photos look unusual, stock-like, or inconsistent with the description.
- Misleading photos - The photos do not match the item description or appear to be from a different item entirely.
- Wrong size listed - The size in the listing does not match what is shown in the photos or description.
- Overpriced - The price is significantly higher than market value for the item.
- Other - Any other concern that makes the listing seem unreliable.
How to Report
- 1Click the Report Item button on your notification embed (available to both primary buyers and queued users).
- 2A dropdown appears with the report reasons listed above. Select the one that best describes the issue.
- 3Upon selecting a reason, two things happen simultaneously:
- You are removed from the autocop queue for that item (the bot assumes you no longer want to buy it). Your embed updates to show the report status in orange.
- All other users currently in the queue for the same item receive a warning on their notification embed, telling them how many reports have been filed and what the reported issue is. This warning is added alongside their existing queue status, so they keep their position but gain awareness.
What Reporting Does Not Do
- Reports are item-specific and only affect the queue for that particular listing.
- Reports do not permanently flag the seller or affect other listings.
- Reports do not automatically remove the item from Vinted.
- You cannot report the same item twice.
- Reporting does not affect users who have already purchased the item.
